Thank you for inquiring about entry into the 2020 DTLA Proud Festival’s Community Nonprofit Vendor Space. The 2020 DTLA Proud Festival strives to offer something for everyone. Along with the main stage entertainment and Summertramp there will be only 20 nonprofit community booths.
Unfortunately, due to the limited space allotted for vendors we know we won’t be able to accept every nonprofit interested in attending. This year in response to community feedback, the board has decided to populate our community nonprofit space with agencies that fit into 1 of 18 categories. These categories were chosen to honor the holistic multifacetedness of our festival attendees.
The categories are Transgender, Employment, Family Supportive Services, Civic Engagement/Voting, LA City Departments, Sexual Health, Women’s Health, Faith Based, Transportation, Legal, Men’s Health, Housing, Education, Behavioral Health, Sports/Social, Advocacy, Financial/Business, Pet/Support Animal.
Each of this year’s nonprofit vendors must fit into one of the above categories, and in order to ensure we secure a minimum of one vendor for each of these categories, we are only inviting specific agencies to directly submit an application instead of accepting open solicitations.
An email invitation and vendor application will be sent out to select agencies on Monday June 1st. If an agency isn’t able to accept our invitation or should vendor space open up, we will share this info via email to the agencies that have inquired.
If you have any questions about this year’s community nonprofit space don’t hesitate to contact me.
We look forward to having this year’s 2020 DTLA Proud Festival be our best year yet.
